DAC Members Exclusive Workshops (Intermediate Data Analysis with Pandas and Intro to ML)
Date: 26 November 2019 | 28 November 2019
Time: 7PM – 10PM
Venue: B.5.08 | B.4.08
Facilitator: Zhafran (DAC Alumni)
In this workshop series, we invited Zharfran, one of our DAC alumni, to share with us on Machine Learning, a key subset and application of Artificial Intelligence.
In the first part of the workshop, he shared a brief hands-on session on the basics of Python to explain about the different data structures, sequences, functions, anonymous function (Lambda function), and NumPy basics. This was quite useful for some of our participants whom may not have much experience in programming and are new to such terms.
He shared with the participants on using the Pandas Library for data analysis, where they got to learn the concepts and using the basic and some advanced Pandas library features for data cleaning, exploratory data analysis (EDA) and data manipulation to gain insights on HDB Resale Flat Prices.
Below are some photos that were taken during the workshop.
